Italian Salsa Verde sauce is not only an appetizing seasoning, but also a storehouse of useful substances. I always cook a lot of this sauce. It is suitable for most everyday meals and is perfectly stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The simplicity of the recipe is amazing!
Ingredients
- Parsley - 40 g
- Basil - 3 twigs
- Anchovies - 2 fillet
- Pickled mushrooms - 100 g
- Olives (without a bone) – 2 art.l.
- Capers - 1 tbsp.l.
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Wine vinegar - 4 art.l.
- Olive oil - 50 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop parsley, basil, mushrooms, anchovies, olives and capers in a blender.
Add garlic, vinegar and oil passed through the press.
Season with salt and pepper and put the sauce in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
