Ingredients
- Onion - half
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ketchup - 300 g
- Apple juice - 200 ml
- Soy sauce - 100 ml
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tbsp.l.
- Wine vinegar - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Chili sauce - 2 art.l.
- Mustard - 2 tbsp.l.
- Zira (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel onion and garlic, finely chop.
Heat the oil in a deep saucepan, add the onion and garlic and fry until golden brown.
Add soy sauce, vinegar, apple juice and spices.
Boil for 2 minutes and grind with an immersion blender.
Return the mass to the fire, add ketchup, sugar, salt, mustard and the remaining sauces.
Simmer until desired thickness, stirring occasionally. On average, it takes 35-50 minutes.
