The most popular salad in the cold season can be called herring under a fur coat. I bring to your attention her original recipe with radish. I advise you to use spicy radish and be sure to marinate it in lemon juice.
Ingredients
- Herring (low salt) – 1 piece
- Beetroot (boiled) – 200 g
- Carrots (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Potatoes (boiled) – 200 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Radish - 200 g
- Mayonnaise - 100 ml
- Sour cream - 100 ml
- Sugar - 0,5 tsp.
- Vegetable oil (refined) – 1 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the herring, gut it and chop it finely. Grate the cooked vegetables on a coarse grater, chop the onion with a knife.
Grate radish, rinse under running water, mix with lemon juice, butter, sugar, salt and pepper.
In a separate container, mix mayonnaise and sour cream.
Put herring, onion, radish in layers on a wide dish and generously brush with dressing.
Arrange the potatoes, season with salt and pepper and add the dressing.
Lay out layers of carrots and beets. Brush the salad with the remnants of the dressing and put it in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours.
