I often try new recipes. Recently I came across tkemali with basil. In my opinion, this is a fresh option that is definitely worthy of attention. I advise you to cook it from cherry plum and basil of the same color. So in the end it turns out more beautiful.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum - 500 g
- Hot red pepper - half-string
- Garlic - 3 clove
- Basil - 10 g
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Wine vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 50 g
- Salt - 10 g
- Water - 3 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the cherry plum in a saucepan with a thick bottom.
Add water and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Rub the soft fruits through a sieve to get rid of the peel and seeds.
Mix the resulting puree with sugar, salt and butter.
Finely chop the basil, garlic and hot pepper.
Pour into a saucepan with the rest of the ingredients and mix.
Boil for 10 minutes, pour in the vinegar and remove from heat after 2 minutes.
