Classic ketchup can easily be modified and supplemented with various ingredients to create new and new flavors. For example, with the addition of hops-suneli, it immediately acquires notes of Georgian or Caucasian cuisine. And it is especially good with meat and potatoes.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 3 kg
- Hot red pepper - 300 g
- Garlic - 1 head
- Ground coriander - 1 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass tomatoes, peppers and garlic through a meat grinder.
Cook for about an hour on low heat until thick.
Add all the spices and cook for another 15 minutes.
Grind the ketchup through a sieve.
