The original version of the popular sauce. This time pesto is made from celery, and cottage cheese is used instead of parmesan. For this reason, you will have to add more salt than usual. In general, of course, it is better to focus on your taste here.
Ingredients
- Celery (stems) – 150 g
- Cottage cheese - 3 art.l.
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Pine nuts - 2 tbsp.l .
- Lemon juice - 50 ml
- Olive oil - 150 ml
- Thyme - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt (without slide) – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Dry the pine nuts in a frying pan for a couple of minutes.
Place celery stalks, nuts, cottage cheese and peeled garlic in the blender bowl. Grind until smooth.
Add lemon juice, salt, thyme, oil and mix well again.
