Tahini sauce

Lately I often come across recipes in which tahini sauce is prepared on the basis of sesame paste. This greatly speeds up the process, but has a bad effect on the taste. I suggest you be patient and start with sesame seeds. Believe me, it's worth it.


  • Sesame - 200 g
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Olive oil - 120 ml
  • Lemon juice - 50 ml
  • Honey - 2 art.l.
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 3 art.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Fry sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until golden brown.

Cool, transfer to a blender and chop.

Add oil, peeled garlic, honey, lemon juice, water, ground pepper and salt. Turn on the blender for 3-5 minutes. Orient by appearance: the sauce should become white and thick.
