The variety of olivier recipes continues to amaze - then different types of meat are used, then interesting additives. This time I suggest cooking olivier with pickled champignons. They are an excellent substitute for cucumbers. The salad turns out to be moderately salty, sour and juicy.
Ingredients
- Beef (boiled) – 300 g
- Champignons (pickled) – 250 g
- Green peas (canned) – 1 bank
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Potatoes (boiled) – 200 g
- Carrots (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise - 220 ml
- Greens (different) – 3 twigs
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut beef, carrots, potatoes, eggs and mushrooms into cubes of the same size.
Put the green peas in a colander, rinse under running water and lightly dry on a paper towel.
Mix meat, carrots, potatoes, eggs, peas and mushrooms in a deep bowl.
Add salt, pepper and mayonnaise. Gently mix the salad with a spoon.
Place the olivier on a nice plate and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
