Mint is often used in Mediterranean cuisine. It gives the dishes a certain zest. Usually Greek salad is prepared without it, but such a flavorful addition will only improve it. The main thing is not to get carried away, as an extra amount of mint will give bitterness.
Ingredients
- Feta - 100 g
- Olives - 100 g
- Cucumbers - 150 g
- Cherry tomatoes - 150 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Mint - 2 twigs
- Lettuce - 3 leaf
- Bow purple - 1 piece
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Lemon - 1 slice
- Oregano - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce leaves, feta, peeled bell peppers and onions.
Pick the leaves from the mint sprigs. If they are too large, tear them with your hands.
Mix vegetables, olives, mint, salad leaves and feta.
Add salt, oregano, ground pepper and olive oil.
Squeeze out the juice from the lemon slice and mix everything with special forceps.
