There are a lot of variations of the classic Caesar, and this salad with chicken and crackers is one of them. Despite its simplicity, it will surely become a favorite of your family and friends. Such a dish will decently decorate a festive table, suitable for a romantic date and even children will like it. Serve it this way or with Caesar sauce.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- White bread - 3 slices
- Cherry tomatoes - 150 g
- Arugula - 160 g
- Parmesan - 50 g
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil or bake the chicken until tender for about half an hour, and cut into cubes.
Cut slices of white bread into the same cube and dry them in a dry frying pan until golden.
Wash the arugula, cut the cherry into quarters and arrange the ingredients on plates.
Season the salad with salt and pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice and olive oil, and sprinkle with grated parmesan on top.
