Ingredients
- Vegetable broth - 1.5 l
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Beetroot - 2 pieces
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut all the vegetables into strips. Add beets to the boiling vegetable broth or water.
After 15 minutes add potatoes, and after another 10 – carrots and onions.
Cook the lean borscht until the vegetables are ready and season at the end.
