Chicken chops with mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese in the oven
It is believed that the chops were first cooked in Argentina. Now this dish is widely spread all over the world. Therefore, it is not surprising that there are incredibly many recipes on this topic. I suggest you try one of the simplest!
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 600 g
- Tomatoes (medium) – 3 pieces
- Mushrooms - 150 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cheese (solid) – 180 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Mayonnaise - 120 ml
- Nutmeg (ground) – to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it into plates 1.5-2 centimeters thick.
Beat off each piece with a hammer on both sides, sprinkle with salt and ground nutmeg.
Finely chop the mushrooms and peeled onions.
Fry the onion and mushrooms until tender, season with salt and pepper.
Cut tomatoes into slices, grate cheese.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, lay out the chops and smear with mayonnaise.
Carefully put mushrooms, tomatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese.
Cover with a double layer of foil and bake for 25 minutes in the oven at 190 degrees.
