Rabbit liver is a healthy dietary product that must be present in the diet of children and adults. The liver cooked according to this recipe turns out to be soft and tender. Serve it with boiled rice, pasta or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- Rabbit liver - 500 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Sour cream - 150 g
- Water - 80 ml
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2-3 art.l.
- Salt - to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the liver into large pieces, removing the films and streaks.
Cut the onion into quarter-rings and fry in vegetable oil until soft.
Transfer the prepared liver to the onion in a frying pan and fry for 5-7 minutes over medium heat. Stir so that the liver is fried evenly.
Pour water into the pan, cover with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add sour cream, salt and pepper, stir and simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes.
