An amazing dish based on Oriental cuisine. Tender turkey meat with fried crispy bulgur is framed by the delicious aroma of prunes. Prepare a dish, and your usual lunch will turn into a real holiday!

Ingredients

  • Turkey (fillet) – 450 g
  • Bulgur - 2 glasses
  • Prunes (without a bone) – 5 pieces
  • Carrots - 1 piece
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 2 teeth
  • Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
  • Zira - 0,5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water (boiling water) – 500 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the turkey, dry it and cut it into small pieces.

Wash the prunes with boiling water and chop.

Grate carrots, peel onions and finely chop.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, lay out the turkey and brown well.

Add the onion, carrot and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes.

Add prunes, cumin, salt, ground pepper and bulgur. Fry everything together for 5-7 minutes.

Pour boiling water, turn down the heat and simmer under the lid for 20 minutes.

Squeeze garlic through a press, if necessary, add salt and turn off. The dish must stand under the lid for 15 minutes.
