Chicken with apples or oranges has already become a classic. Therefore, I suggest we go ahead and try to bake it with pumpkin. Everything is successful in it: taste, texture, baking time. I can't imagine how I managed without this recipe before.
Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 piece
- Pumpkin - 400 g
- Bow purple - 2 pieces
- Rosemary - 2 twigs
- Garlic - 3 clove
- Vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Honey - 2 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings (for chicken) – 2 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix vegetable oil, honey, salt and spices to taste.
Wash the chicken carcass, dry it with paper towels and thoroughly rub the marinade inside and out. Leave about a third of the marinade aside.
Pass the garlic through the press and rub the carcass on top. Sprinkle it with chopped rosemary and leave for an hour.
Coarsely chop the peeled pumpkin and onion, pour in the remaining marinade and mix.
Put the chicken in a mold and cover it with vegetables on all sides. Tighten everything with foil and bake for 40 minutes at 190 degrees.
Remove the foil and bake the chicken to a beautiful golden brown. In the process, pour the dripping marinade over it every 10-15 minutes.
