Usually pea porridge is cooked on water and served as a side dish. But today I propose to make it on cream – even more tender, soft and creamy. And at the same time I'll tell you how to do it in a slow cooker. Adjust the density due to the amount of liquid.
Ingredients
- Peas - 250 g
- Water - 700 ml
- Cream (bold) – 300 ml
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Provencal herbs - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas for 8-10 hours.
Put it in the bowl of a slow cooker and fill it with water.
Turn on the "Porridge" mode for 75 minutes.
After about an hour, pour in the cream and add the spices.
Chop the peas with a pusher or blender.
