When you want to pamper your family with an unusual dish, you should cook pilaf with mussels. It's delicious, simple and original. I advise you to use chilled seafood. They do not require defrosting, they cook faster and significantly benefit in taste.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel and chop the onion. Cut tomatoes and carrots into short cubes.

Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the mussels and fry for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.

Add onion, carrot, tomato, cumin and black pepper. Cook until the onion is transparent, stirring constantly.

Add the washed rice, salt, hot water and cook under the lid for 20 minutes.

Wrap the finished pilaf with a towel for 30 minutes. When serving, add a lettuce leaf to the plate.
