It's hard to come up with a more traditional way of cooking any meat than stewing it in a fragrant homemade gravy. Moreover, this does not even necessarily require a cauldron – an ordinary frying pan is enough. This time we will cook pork ribs according to this principle.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 700 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Meat broth - 1 glass
- Tomato paste - 1 art.l.
- Flour - 1 tsp.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 h.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the ribs into pieces and fry for 15-20 minutes, turning over. Set aside.
Separately fry the chopped onion. After 5 minutes, add the carrots and fry for another 7 minutes, stirring.
Add flour to the frying pan and mix.
Put the ribs back and pour the broth with tomato.
Simmer the meat under the lid on low heat for about 30-40 minutes.
5 minutes before the end, add all the spices.
