It just so happened that our housewives cook a rabbit only on holidays. If this is the case today, I advise you to try this recipe. Rabbit with vegetables and sour cream in the oven is a great festive dish that everyone will like!
Ingredients
- Rabbit - 1 kg
- Potatoes - 600 g
- Cherry tomatoes - 5 pieces
- Bell pepper (large) – 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 head
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Sour cream - 200 g
- Water - 250 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash, dry and slice the rabbit.
Add marjoram, salt and ground pepper. Stir and leave to marinate for half an hour under the lid.
Chop tomatoes, peeled potatoes and bell peppers.
Rinse the garlic head, dry it and cut it in half crosswise.
Put potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, tomatoes and rabbit in a greased form.
Add the garlic halves and pour all the sour cream mixed with water.
Cover with a double layer of foil and bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
Remove the foil, reduce the heat to 180 degrees and continue cooking for another 15-20 minutes.
