Do you like green peas? Then prepare a delicious Greek stew. A light dish of fresh vegetables will not take you much time. To make it more satisfying, I usually use chicken broth. On the water, it seems to me, it turns out too lean.
Ingredients
- Green peas - 400 g
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Chicken broth - 500 ml
- Salt - to taste
- Basil (for submission) – 1 twig
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop carrots, peeled potatoes and onions.
Heat the oil in a deep saucepan, add onions, carrots and fry until golden brown.
Add potatoes, hot broth and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
Add green peas, coarsely chopped garlic cloves, salt and cook under the lid for another 8 minutes.
Serve the stew hot, garnished with fresh basil.
