Do you like baked ribs, but are you tired of classic recipes already? Try cooking pork ribs with prunes. The aroma of smoked dried fruits combined with meat is delicious! I like to add some more red pepper flakes, but it's not necessary at all.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 1 kg
- Prunes (without a bone) – 15 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Hot red pepper (flakes) – 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Soy sauce - 3 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash pork ribs, dry them with paper towels and cut them.
In a deep bowl, mix the ribs, chopped garlic, salt, soy sauce and olive oil. Cover the bowl with a lid and put it in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Remove the ribs and warm them at room temperature for 1 hour.
Cover the baking sheet with foil, lay out the meat, add prunes and red pepper flakes.
Bake the ribs for 1.5 hours in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees.
Carefully open the foil and continue cooking for another 20 minutes.
