For such a dish, you will need a frying pan with sufficiently high sides. Delicious chicken legs in tomato sauce are so good that it is impossible to refuse them. Such a dish can be served even on a holiday, despite its simplicity.
Ingredients
- Chicken legs - 800 g
- Tomatoes (in its own juice) – 400 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Olives - 1 handful
- Greenery - 4 twigs
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Champignons - 200 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rub the chicken legs with spices and fry on all sides until browned.
Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots and fry separately until soft.
Add the mushrooms and fry for another 5 minutes.
Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer for 7-10 minutes.
Add olives, chopped herbs and garlic there, simmer for a couple more minutes and put the chicken in the sauce.
Cook everything together for another 5-7 minutes on low heat under the lid.
