An interesting American dish is prepared in the spirit of a classic chowder, although there is a completely different composition of ingredients. Instead of seafood, you will need bacon and corn, and instead of heavy cream, regular milk is enough.

Finely chop the bacon, fry and set aside.

Chop the leeks and wet, and fry in the same pan.

Add the corn and stir.

Add all the spices and flour, and mix again.

Pour in the milk and water, bring the soup to a boil and boil for 5-7 minutes until thickened.

Remove it from the heat, add the bacon and sprinkle with chopped herbs.
