A very unusual and interesting way to bake trout when the usual spices are tired is to cook it with pesto and almonds. Take the nuts immediately in the form of flakes or chop them in advance. Pesto can be made by yourself or use ready-made. In any case, it's just olive oil, lemon juice, herbs and seasonings.
Ingredients
- Trout - 2 pieces
- Pesto sauce - 2 art.l.
- Almond petals - 2 tbsp.l .
- Olive oil - 2 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 2 pinches
- Ground red pepper - 2 pinches
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rub the peeled trout with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper and coriander.
Put a spoonful of pesto into the belly of the fish, and sprinkle it with almond petals on top.
Bake the trout in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 190 degrees.
