In the oven, pearl porridge turns out to be doubly tasty and fragrant. Even if you just cook it on water without additives. However, I still advise you to take a little more butter to a ready-made, but still hot dish.

Rinse the pearl barley and soak for an hour.

Finely chop the onion and garlic, and put them in a mold with a lid or in pots.

Cover the pearl barley, season and pour water so that it covers the grits by 5 mm.

Cook porridge in the oven for about an hour at 180 degrees.
