This is the easiest rabbit stew recipe I've ever come across. Cut the carcass into small pieces, fry with vegetables and simmer for 1.5 hours. When cutting bones, you should not chop, it is better to divide the pieces by joints and tendons.

Ingredients

  • Rabbit (1.2-1.5 kg) – 1 carcass
  • Carrots (large) – 1 piece
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Tomato sauce - 80 ml
  • Butter - 80 g
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Black Pepper - 3 peas
  • Salt - 2 tsp.
  • Water (filtered) – 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the rabbit carcass, dry it and cut it.

Melt half the butter in a frying pan, put the rabbit pieces and fry for 10 minutes. Each piece should be browned on all sides.

Cut carrots and peeled onions.

Pour the vegetables into the pan with the meat and continue to fry for 5-7 minutes.

Add hot water, tomato sauce, spices, salt and simmer under the lid for 1.5 hours on low heat.
