Such unusual vegetarian meatballs with lentils and oat flakes will be a great snack or main course. When serving, decorate them with herbs and be sure to add sauce to taste. I like it best with spicy tomato.
Ingredients
- Lentils - 1 glass
- Onion - 1 piece
- Oat flakes - 1 handful
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Olive oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Tomato paste - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the lentils until cooked according to the instructions, about 30 minutes.
Chop the onion and garlic, and fry in a spoonful of olive oil until golden.
Mash the lentils into puree, add tomato paste, onion with garlic and spices, and mix.
Add the oat flakes, knead the mass again and form small balls.
Fry them in the remaining oil for a couple of minutes on all sides, put them on parchment and bring them to readiness in the oven for another 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.
