Brown rice is considered much healthier than white rice, especially if you follow a diet or proper nutrition. There are especially many useful components in it, and with vegetables it is a real storehouse of vitamins. But it takes longer to cook, and that's why I suggest making it in pots!
Ingredients
- Brown rice - 200 g
- Vegetable broth (or water) – 400-600 ml
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Celery - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Finely chop the onion, celery and pepper, grate the carrots on a grater.
Fry the vegetables for a couple of minutes until soft, season and arrange in pots.
Fill the washed brown rice on top and fill it with water so that it covers it by about a centimeter.
Put the pots in the oven for an hour at 190 degrees.
