Sea buckthorn is not only delicious, but also surprisingly useful berry. My family just loves it, so in the fall it is often on our table. Recently I cooked a cottage cheese casserole with sea buckthorn. You just have to try it!
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 500 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Semolina - 2 tbsp.l .
- Vanillin - at the tip of the knife
- Sugar - 150 g
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Sea buckthorn - half a glass
- Butter - 20 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the sea buckthorn and put it on a towel to dry.
Crush the berries with a wooden crush, cover with sugar and put aside for 15 minutes.
Strain the resulting juice through a sieve.
Grind the cottage cheese in a blender or rub through a sieve.
Beat the eggs with salt and vanilla.
Mix cottage cheese, beaten eggs, sea buckthorn juice and semolina. Leave the resulting mass for 10 minutes so that the semolina has time to swell.
Grease the molds with butter, lay out the curd mass, filling them by two-thirds. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.
