Just a couple of sprigs of various fragrant herbs turn the simplest potato casserole into a real work of art. And to make it a completely independent dish, and not a side dish, add a little bacon.

Finely chop the bacon and fry until browned.

Cut the potatoes into slices and spread them in layers, sprinkling bacon periodically.

Fill the casserole with cream and sprinkle with grated parmesan. Put a sprig of greens.

Cook the dish in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
