As with other cereals, pearl barley makes a wonderful dairy breakfast. This time we will bake it in the oven, so as not to make sure that nothing burns and does not boil out. Serve the porridge with honey, nuts or fresh berries.
Ingredients
- Pearl barley - 1 glass
- Milk - 2.5 glasses
- Berries - 150 g
- Raisins - 1 handful
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the pearl barley and boil in water for 10-15 minutes after boiling. Drain the water.
Put the grits in the molds, add the raisins and sugar, and pour in the milk.
Cover with foil and cook the porridge in the oven for about 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
Serve the pearl barley with berries.
