When the usual recipes of fish with greens are tired, I want a little variety. This time I suggest baking mackerel with fragrant paprika. It gives not only a great smell, but also a beautiful ruddy shade to the fish. And if there is smoked paprika at home, feel free to use it!
Ingredients
- Mackerel - 2 carcasses
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Paprika - 2 tsp.
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
- Sea salt - 1 tsp.
- Lemon - 0.5 pieces
- Garlic - 4 cloves
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Completely clean the fish and rub it on all sides with salt and pepper.
Then rub the mackerel with paprika oil and put lemon slices and thinly sliced garlic into the belly.
Leave the fish to soak for 10-15 minutes, and then bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
