Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse the pearl barley thoroughly under running water and pour it into a saucepan.

Add bay leaf, black pepper, cold water and cook for 40 minutes over medium heat.

Chop cucumbers, carrots, peeled potatoes and onions.

Fry onions and carrots until golden brown in vegetable oil.

Mix the minced meat with egg, pepper, salt, chopped garlic and dill.

Form small meatballs with your hands and pour them into a saucepan with pearl barley.

Add potatoes, cucumbers, roast and continue cooking for 15 minutes.

Add salt, remove from heat and insist under the lid for 10 minutes.
