If empty barley porridge is too boring and bland for you, add some carrots and greens. Such a simple solution – and the result is already much more interesting! This time we will prepare our favorite side dish in a slow cooker – quickly and conveniently.
Ingredients
- Barley groats - 200 g
- Water - 600 ml
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Greenery - 0.5 beam
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the egg and send it to the bowl of the slow cooker.
Add spices, chopped onion and grated carrots.
Pour in the oil and fill everything with water. Cook for 40 minutes in the "Porridge" mode.
A couple of minutes before the end, add the chopped greens and mix.
