One of the most popular dishes on the festive table can be safely called duck with apples. It does not require detailed descriptions, everyone knows it well. Anyone can cook a duck in the oven, no difficulties or culinary skills. Sharing my favorite recipe!

Wash the duck and soak it in cold water for a day. If possible, change the water 2-3 times.
Rinse the bird again, dry the inside and outside with paper towels.
Mix lemon juice, mustard, oil, salt, ground black pepper and finely chopped garlic.
Rub the duck thoroughly with this marinade from all sides. Pay special attention to the wings and breast.
Stuff the bird with apples and carefully transfer it to the baking sleeve.
Bake the duck for 1.5 hours in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
Cut the sleeve, turn down the heat and cook for another 20 minutes to form a ruddy crust.
Put the finished duck on a plate, decorate with herbs and apples.
