Cut pork and potatoes into cubes, chop cabbage and grate carrots on a coarse grater.
Fry the meat in vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes. Add vegetables and chopped nuts.
Pour in 200 ml of water and simmer all together for another 15 minutes.
Add more water, bring the borscht to a boil and season. Cook everything together for about 7 minutes and then let it brew.
