There are many recipes for Mexican sauce. It is prepared from various vegetables and fruits, yielding to heat treatment and without it. Despite all the variety, the classic salsa sauce of tomatoes, onions and garlic remains the most popular.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 300 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Lime - 2 pieces
- Olive oil - 50 ml
- Cumin - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the prepared vegetables in a dry frying pan and fry until blackness appears in places.
Put the vegetables on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and leave for 15 minutes.
Peel tomatoes, cut into large pieces.
Cut the hot pepper in half, remove the seeds and stalk.
Put garlic, chopped onion, tomatoes and hot pepper in the blender bowl.
Add butter, lime juice, salt, cumin and grind until smooth.
