Meat and potatoes are a classic combination loved by many. I propose to combine these products in a new way: to cook chops in a potato coat. I will use chicken meat, but any other will also do.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 600 g
- Potatoes - 250 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 piece
- Flour - 4 tbsp.l .
- Vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Thyme (for submission) – 2 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it into plates about 1 centimeter thick.
Wrap a piece of meat in plastic wrap and beat it off with a hammer on both sides.
Sprinkle the beaten fillet with salt and ground pepper.
Peel the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater. Drain the excess juice, squeeze the potatoes slightly.
Add salt, ground pepper, eggs, 1 tbsp flour and mix.
Pour the rest of the flour onto a wide plate.
Roll the chop in flour, then put a little potato mass on the palm of your hand, place the chop on top and cover with potatoes.
Give the workpiece a beautiful shape, put it on a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. Repeat the steps with the remaining pieces of meat.
Put the finished chops on a plate and garnish with thyme sprigs.
