It is not known where the recipe for shish kebabs appeared, but they are cooked especially tasty in the Caucasus. If the trip is postponed for the time being, cook a pork kebab at home in Caucasian style. The key ingredients for the marinade will be hot pepper and red wine.
Ingredients
- Pork - 2 kg
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l .
- Wine (red) – 200 ml
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Salt (without slide) – 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the meat into small pieces and put it in a bowl.
Cut hot pepper in half, peel from seeds, chop.
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.
Add onion, hot pepper, suneli hops, salt, wine and oil to the bowl with meat. Stir, cover and refrigerate for 8-10 hours.
Remove the meat from the refrigerator and leave to warm up at room temperature for 1 hour.
Put the meat on skewers and fry on the grill for 20-25 minutes, turning it over often.
