The perfect addition to corn porridge is cheese in any form. This time I propose to cook it with cheese, in the best traditions of Ukrainian cuisine. You can serve it separately, with mushrooms, with bacon or with fried pork rinds.
Ingredients
- Corn groats - 1 glass
- Water - 3 glasses
- Sour cream - 2 glasses
- Butter - 30 g
- Cheese - 100 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil water in a cauldron, pour in a thin stream of grits and mix.
Add sour cream, mix again and cook porridge for 10 minutes.
Add butter and crumbled cheese, and let the porridge brew for 10 minutes under the lid.
