Most often German donuts are made with strawberry or cherry jam. This dish is considered one of the most popular delicacies in Germany. There are some prescription differences in different regions. I offer you the classic version.

Mix yeast, warm milk and sugar.
Add the melted butter, vanilla essence and yolks.
Add the sifted flour in small portions, knead the dough.
Cover with a towel and put away in a warm place for 1 hour.
Roll out the cake about 3 centimeters thick, squeeze out the donuts with a glass.
Put the blanks on a floured board and leave to rise for 15-20 minutes.
Deep fry the donuts and put them to cool on a paper towel.
Using a pastry bag, fill the donuts with jam.
