Fragrant cherry pies can be cooked not only in summer. Now almost every store sells canned or frozen berries. Add powdered sugar to your taste, but starch here serves as a stabilizer.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Grate butter on a grater.

Add sugar, salt and flour mixed with baking powder. Rub with your hands until fine crumbs.

Add lightly beaten egg, vanilla essence and knead the dough. Cover with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Divide the dough in half. Roll out the cakes according to the diameter of the mold, taking into account the height of the sides.

Cover the mold with baking paper and lay out the first blank.

Mix the cherries with starch, powdered sugar and put on the cake.

Put the second cake on top and seal the edges well. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees.

Sprinkle the finished cake with powdered sugar.
