Classic English pies are good for their simplicity. In fact, they remind us of the usual cupcakes. For example, this recipe is prepared on ordinary kefir and generally does not cause trouble even for beginners. And oranges make it unusual.
Ingredients
- Butter - 200 g
- Kefir - 130 ml
- Sugar - 300 g
- Orange - 1 piece
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Flour - 320 g
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
- Baking powder dough - 1 tsp.
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rub the soft butter, sugar and eggs until smooth.
Remove the peel from the orange and squeeze out the juice.
Add kefir, salt and orange juice to the butter, mix again.
Combine the sifted flour and the remaining dry ingredients. Gradually enter and knead the dough.
Add the zest, mix and put in the mold for 2/3.
Leave the pie for 10 minutes and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees. If desired, decorate with orange slices.
