You can even make delicious croissants with fresh blueberries. The berries should be crushed in a blender, mixed with sugar and starch. Thanks to the last ingredient, the mass will become thick and will not leak out when baking. I share a simple recipe.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Blueberries - 300 g
- Corn Starch - 1 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost puff pastry at room temperature.
Wash the blueberries and dry them thoroughly.
Chop the berries in a blender. Add sugar, corn starch and mix.
Roll out the dough to the desired thickness and cut into identical triangles.
Put a little mass of blueberries on the wide edge of the blanks.
Tuck the edges inside so that the filling does not leak out and roll up loose rolls.
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and lay out the croissants, leaving enough space between them.
Shake the egg with a fork and lubricate the croissants with a silicone brush.
Bake for 10 minutes in the oven at 210 degrees, and then reduce to 180 degrees and cook for another 10 minutes.
