Why not start the day with a delicious breakfast? Prepare crispy croissants in the evening, and in the morning just brew fresh coffee or fragrant tea. Such pastries can be served with honey, condensed milk, any sweet and salty fillings.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Milk (warm) – 40 ml
- Powdered sugar - 1 tsp.
- Egg yolks - 1 piece
- Butter (soft) – 30 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost puff pastry at room temperature or in the microwave.
Roll out the dough to the desired thickness, moving exclusively in one direction.
Cut triangles of the same size and brush with butter.
Starting from the wide edge, gently roll up loose rolls.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, and lay out the croissants. Keep in mind that they will greatly increase in volume.
Mix powdered sugar, milk and yolk. Lubricate the croissants with the resulting mixture.
Bake for 10 minutes at 210 degrees, then reduce to 180 degrees and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
