Japanese matcha tea has recently been increasingly used in cooking. It gives the dough an unusual flavor and a beautiful green color. Today we will cook fluffy donuts with him. Be sure to prepare the products in advance so that they have time to warm up.
Ingredients
- Flour - 320 g
- Matcha Tea - 1 tsp.
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Baking powder dough - 1,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.l.
- Salt - at the tip of the knife
- Water - 180 ml
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 300 ml
- Sugar - 300 g
- Water - 150 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the matcha with water, the temperature of which does not exceed 75 degrees, whisk with a cappuccino machine or a special whisk.
Sift flour twice into a wide bowl, add baking powder, salt and sugar.
Add egg, matcha, 2 tbsp oil and knead the dough.
Roll out the cake about 3 centimeters thick, squeeze out the donuts with a special cutting.
Fry the blanks in hot oil until golden brown and place on a paper towel.
Mix water and sugar, simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Pour in the lemon juice, stir and cool slightly.
Pour icing sugar over the donuts. For decoration, you can use coconut chips, confectionery sprinkles or chopped nuts.
