Currant is not only a storehouse of vitamins and nutrients, but also a great filling for a pie. The pie with this berry has a special sweet and sour taste, besides it is incredibly easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- Black Currant - 300 gr
- Sugar - 200 gr
- Flour - 180 gr
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Baking powder dough - 7,5 gr
- Starch (potato) – 1,5 tsp.
- Butter - 150 gr
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Whisk together sugar, softened butter and eggs.
Pour starch, flour and baking powder into the resulting mass. Knead the dough.
Put the dough in a baking dish lined with parchment. Pour a uniform layer of currants, lightly pressing the berries into the dough.
Bake the pie in the oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
