Next time you're in the store, be sure to buy puff pastry. It is very easy to make delicious croissants from it. Fillings can be very diverse. I suggest using boiled condensed milk and nuts.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Walnuts - half a glass
- Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Boiled condensed milk - 300 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost puff pastry at room temperature.
Lightly dry the nuts in a frying pan and chop them in a blender.
Mix part of the nuts with condensed milk, leave the rest for sprinkling.
Roll out the dough to the desired thickness and cut into identical triangles.
Put a little filling on the wide edge. Turn the sides inside and roll up loose rolls. Repeat the steps with the remaining blanks and filling.
Place the croissants on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, brush with lightly shaken egg.
Bake for 10 minutes at 210 degrees, and then another 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Sprinkle the finished croissants with powdered sugar and the remaining nuts.
