Such puffs with fruit and custard are good because the filling can actually be absolutely any. I suggest trying tangerines, grapes and canned pineapples. This is a great combination, especially in the autumn-winter period.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Tangerines - 4 pieces
- Grapes - 100 g
- Pineapple (canned) – 80 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Flour - 25 g
- Milk - 250 ml
- Butter - 20 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Roll out the dough, cut into squares, step back a centimeter from each edge and make incisions, not reaching the corners a little.
Shift the edges in opposite directions to get something like a diamond-shaped basket with sides, as in the photo.
For the cream, mix sugar, flour and egg directly in a saucepan. Add the milk and cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove the cream from the heat, add the butter and mix again until smooth.
Fill the dough baskets with cream and put the fruit on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees until browned.
