Traditionally, donuts are fried in a lot of oil. As a result, the baking turns out to be very greasy. But there is another great option — bake donuts in the oven. Among other things, this method of cooking takes less time.
Ingredients
- Flour - 400 g
- Fresh yeast - 15 g
- Coconut oil - 20 g
- Coconut milk - 150 ml
- Water (warm) – 50 ml
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Powdered sugar - 3 art.l.
- Salt - at the tip of the knife
- Sugar - 1,5 glasses
- Water - 150 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
- Coconut chips - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix coconut milk, water, yeast, powdered sugar and 2 tbsp flour. Remove the workpiece for 10 minutes in a warm place.
Sift flour into a wide bowl, add egg, salt, coconut oil, sourdough and knead the dough.
Cover the bowl with a towel and leave at room temperature for 1 hour.
Knead the dough slightly, roll out the cake about 3 centimeters thick. Use glasses or molds to squeeze out donuts.
Place the blanks on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and leave to rise for 15-20 minutes.
Bake the donuts for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
In a small saucepan, mix water and sugar. Stirring continuously, boil the workpiece on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the stove, pour in the lemon juice and stir.
Put icing sugar on donuts, sprinkle with coconut chips.
